A Great Victoria Day Cocktail/Mocktail - Earl Grey Tea Infused

Looking for a custom cocktail recipe that combines your favourite tea with yumminess?  

What you need: 

  • 1/4 cup Earl Grey-infused Gin, see how-to below (for mocktail use cooled tea)
  • 2 tbsp Simple Syrup, see how-to below
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Egg White
  • 3 drops Peach Bitters (or peach juice)

It's simple to make: 

  1. Add Earl-Grey infused Gin with Simple Syrup, Lemon Juice, Egg White and Peach Bitters/Juice in a cocktail shaker
  2. Add a handful of ice
  3. Shake for 15 sec.
  4. Strain into the martini glass
  5. Spoon foam on top
  6. Garnish with a lemon peel or lavender if you like
  7. Enjoy! 

 

How-to make Earl Grey Tea Infused Gin

  1. Combine 1 cup of your favourite Gin with 3 teaspoons of One Earth Royal Cream Earl Grey Tea in a Mason jar
  2. Infuse for 2 hours, then strain
Chef notes: For an extra twist add 2 tsp dried lavender to mixture

How-to make Simple Syrup

  1. Bring equal parts sugar and water to a boil
  2. Cool before using
