every day is earth day

if we all do little things- big things will happen

the little things always add up to big things

When we started this company back in 2013, we knew that we wanted to put people and planet before profits. I'm happy to say that we still believe that and do that.

That's why we make conscious and often more expensive choices every day to reduce our impact and leave the earth a better place.

We get asked alot what we do to better serve our planet.

The short answer- we do alot every single day.

1) Our product packaging is glass or paper whenever possible (which is most of the time).

2) Our stores use paperless receipts, we either text or email your receipt.

3) Our shipping practices are very mindful. We use paper wrap to cushion and wrap most of your items. (We do use bubble wrap when we have to). We use electronic packing slips and our thank you note is written right on your box. Again less paper used.

4) The shopping bags we provide you with in store are paper and made from recycled materials.

5) The gift boxes and crinkle paper we use are paper and made from recycled materials.

6) The Sari Wraps and scarves we sell our made from upcycled saris, more reuse and less in landfill.

7) The Argan Oil, Prickly Pear Oil and Essential Oils we use are all sourced from Womens co-ops in Morocco. These Co-ops are UNESCO protected meaning that the farming practices are followed closely and over farming is not allowed. Pesticides are not used.

8) When you order online- We are carbon neutral. That means that we pay to have the carbon we used to get your package to you removed from the environment. You can follow along on our home page or below to see what we fund and the carbon we have removed from the environment.

9) We supply alot of hotels and bed and breakfasts- we are thrilled that all of our clients use our refill program, meaning they don't use single use plastic bottles. They purchase one pump top bottle and refill it for years. :)
